Judgment on Nations

...we were praying in church for our nation, prior to the start of the Iraq invasion. I felt a strong impression from the Lord to pass on the following:

“In ages past, I have used nations to judge other nations, I have not changed, I am still the same today. I will use America and the coalition forces to judge Iraq. At the same time, your country America , which I founded to promote the gospel around the world, has told me officially to stay out of it’s affairs. You have turned evil activity of all kinds into government-sanctioned actions. Your country now blesses what I have said in my word not to do. I have given directions and commandments and shown you My will in My word because I love you and want to bless you as a nation.

Look around your country; do you see full employment, prospering businesses, happy marriages, obedient children, healthy people, bountiful crops and peace? These are some of the blessings I pour out on people who love and serve me, but America chooses to go their own way. Where are My people who would stand up and speak out for My principals?

Your nation is under My judgment, do not be surprised if enemies from within and without disrupt your lives as evidenced by the 9/11 incident. I love America and want your nation to turn back to serving Me and bringing honor to My Holy name.

As your military moves towards its objectives in Iraq, there will be many surprises for them. They arrogantly march in on their own power and might, be prepared to be humbled. It is not too late to turn to Me, humble yourselves before Me and I will make a way for you. I love you so much.”
